Hi, my name is Pete, aka Mountain Jack Morgan and I have been playing guitar
& singing all types of blues, country, swing and ragtime since I left school. I started off like a lot of people did with
a cheap acoustic guitar which was hardly playable and scratched out the songs of the day while my fingers ached & almost
bled.
I was lucky in that I had a lot of friends with large record collections the most of which were blues or
traditional country, and I spent hours listening & working out the chords and lyrics. I never gave up and soon built a
decent size set list which I could go out and perform in the folk & blues venues around at the time.
Pix of a small gig at the Burnham Music Festival in Somerset with Dave Wright We play a mixture of Western

Latest news, READ ALL ABOUT IT ! yes folks, you heard it here first, Mountain Jack
aka Pete Jones (me) is the front man in a new blues band, singing and playing blues harp (harmonica). The Roadhouse
Blues Band has now played it's first gig after only a few rehearsals and we are very happy with the results. Our
set is strictly Chicago blues and we play songs by Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Willie Dixon and many more besides. I will
be uploading some of our music soon but in the meantime a few pix will have to do. We will be organising gigs all around the
South West this summer so watch out for the name.
