Hi, my name is Pete, aka Mountain Jack Morgan or Swifty Morgan
in France and I have been playing guitar & singing all types of blues, country, swing and ragtime since I left school.
I started off like a lot of people did with a cheap acoustic guitar which was hardly playable and scratched out the songs
of the day while my fingers ached & almost bled.
I was lucky in that I had a lot of friends with large record collections the most of which were
blues or traditional country, and I spent hours listening & working out the chords and lyrics. I never gave up and soon
built a decent size set list which I could go out and perform in the folk & blues venues around at the time.
Taken at a small gig at the Burnham Music Festival in Somerset with Dave Wright We
played a mixture of Western Swing and Jazzy Blues with a little bit of Country thrown in for good measure.

Latest news, READ ALL ABOUT IT ! yes folks, you heard it here first, Mountain Jack
aka Pete Jones (me) is back from playing the Cahors Blues Festival, the set was strictly Chicago blues and we played
songs by Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Willie Dixon and many more besides. I will be uploading some of our music soon with
video but in the meantime a few pix will have to do.
